Out of all 12 months, you chose these 3—September, October, or November to be exact—to host your long-awaited wedding day. (Autumn is, in fact, the season in which most brides choose to be wed.) But just because all of you autumn-loving brides chose to exchange vows surrounded by falling leaves and cooling temperatures doesn’t mean you are all the same! We’ve searched through endless wedding photos and inspiration albums—thank you Pinterest—to share with you the different wedding styles brides out there actually want in the fall. Behold, We present to you the four styles of fall brides; which type are you?
1. Rustic Romance
Imagine what a wedding color palette full of deep reds, warm browns, and shimmery champagnes could do to your wedding theme and, boom, you’ve got rustic romance. Finish your décor off with twinkly lights…everywhere…and handmade chalkboard signs for direction and personal touch to fully capture a cozy vibe perfect for an evening ceremony/reception in the heart of autumn. This bride would perfect an effortless half-up, half-down wedding hairstyle paired with a sultry smokey eye as her choice for wedding makeup. This wedding hair and makeup duo allows for the soft curls that fall encourages yet pulls the front pieces away from her face to accentuate her dramatic eye makeup.
2. Vintage Chic
Achieving this ethereal wedding style calls for a muted, subtle wedding color palette to keep everything looking soft and whimsical and is usually paired with one darker color. My favorite wedding color scheme for this style choice is blush pinks, coral, other neutrals, and navy as the darker neutral. This graceful bride’s wedding hair would be a loose bun of curls at the nape of her neck with an elegant, vintage fall hair accessory. Her wedding makeup would remain natural to enhance her beauty and continue the delicate wedding hair and makeup style.
3. Southern Country
This wedding theme really brings the outside in…or brings all of the guests outside! The colors I envision creating this nature-loving theme are colors that are naturally seen outside: golden yellows and lush greens (sage, mint). This bride would rock her cowboy boots and sunflower bouquet down the aisle under the color-changing trees, while serving mini apple pies to her guests as dessert to make everyone feel right at home! Her wedding hair and makeup choice would be none other than big, loose curls and lashes that seem to go on forever because, as they say, ‘go big or go home’ right? This southern belle bride would be nothing less than the center of attention with this striking wedding hair and makeup.
4. Pop(s) of Color
Last but not least, we have a wedding theme for the fun-loving bride that is full of bright reds, oranges, yellows, and pinks—definitely not to say the other styles aren’t fit for fun brides, but this style really exudes in-your-face joyfulness. This wedding theme requires a bright bouquet and, obviously, a colorful sweets station, because fun brides love candy (duh!). This bride can do something playful with her wedding hair and makeup by including intricate braids into her wedding hair and using vivid blush colors in her wedding makeup.
Now, of course these aren’t the only four types of fall brides out there so we’d love to see how you mix and match our favorite inspiration pieces for each one to come up with your own, personal, awesome-autumn wedding theme!
