Wedding Day Beauty Products I’m Thankful For

One of the best parts of fall is obviously Thanksgiving—one of the few holidays specifically centered around being with friends and family…and mouth-watering pumpkin pies. It’s that one day where surrounding yourself with loved ones makes you feel like the luckiest gal (or guy) in the world and you realize that you already have everything you would ever need. This year, we want to share with you the loved ones we were with yesterday and will be with for the rest of our lives.

1. Garnier BB Cream

We cannot live without this product! The one we recommend is the oil-free miracle skin perfector because it’s the ideal base coat when creating a natural face. Specifically for wedding makeup purposes, this product has mattifying mineral pigments and ultra oil-absorbing perlite that delivers the perfect complexion on your big day. No matter the wedding makeup style you’re going for, this is the best first step.

2. Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer

There are tons of concealers out there…how do you know what one to use?! The best advice I can give is to just use what works for you and your skin. While I am not wrinkling (yet lol) this concealer really moves with my skin. The number one thing you want to use with your wedding makeup look is something durable and long-lasting and this definitely fits the bill.

3. bareMinerals Matte Foundation

The more natural, the better. No one wants their makeup complimented before themselves! This loose powder gives you the perfect coverage for your wedding makeup look and the matte finish really works to minimize the shiny, “heavy makeup” look. Once again, this foundation is very versatile and can work for many bridal makeup styles.

4. Too Faced Natural Bronzer

I love the sun bunny shade. I mean, who wouldn’t with a name like that! Continuing with the natural wedding makeup look, the pink undertones in the bronzer mimic a natural tan so with this product, all you’ll get is fabulous wedding makeup. The hint of pink also stands out among the other nude shades we’ve been using so it will create a nice contrast.

5. Clinique High Impact Mascara

While tons of mascaras brag about adding length and volume, this Clinique mascara really follows through on their promise. The black/brown shade looks more natural for me but depending on your skin/hair tone, the black could work better for your wedding makeup. Clumpy lashes for your wedding makeup is a huge no-no so fear not when choosing Clinique because their products are amazing.

These five products are my go to “loved ones” when I reach for makeup. Whether it is for any normal day on the town or I am getting all fancied up (like maybe for my wedding makeup!) I know I can always count on these guys to make me look beautiful. It’s also a plus when the stuff that makes you look good also makes you feel good. Several of these products have SPF in them, which protects me since I am outside most of the time. Not for long though…Christmas is right around the corner. Let the Christmas music begin!
