Lauren Conrad says ‘I do

Now that our favorite fashion mogul has finally said “I do,” it’s time to take notes on her Pinterest-worthy wedding day. Yes, Lauren Conrad is many things—an iconic beauty staple, a reality TV star, and even the head of her own clothing and home products line—but now she can also add beautiful bride to her impressive resume of ‘things-I’m-really-good-at’. She and her lucky groom, musician William Tell, chose the vineyards of Santa Ynez, California as the perfect grounds to host their rustic-chic wedding. On the morning of September 13th, Conrad and Tell’s closest friends and family came together at Sunstone Vineyards & Winery where they enjoyed the couple’s intimate, self-written vows.

Conrad’s—or shall I say Mrs. Tell’s—wedding dress was the epitome of simplicity, class, and elegance. The sophisticated lace detailing on the back of her dress, accented with small buttons trailing down her spine, perfectly balanced out the dramatic lace train that beautifully followed LC down the aisle.

Sticking with the ‘Southern California babe’ look, Lauren’s wedding hairstyle radiated effortless beauty. She chose beachy, mermaid waves half pulled back and fastened with a sparkly leaf hair accessory and a long veil. For this wedding hairstyle, less really is more, which allowed her natural beauty to shine through.

LC’s signature makeup look is winged liner and a bold lip so it is no surprise that she chose to revamp that exact style for her wedding makeup look. She opted for crisp feline flicks to accentuate her eyes and a pink nude lip, keeping things subtle, to complete an overall au-naturale wedding makeup look.

While Lauren’s dress, hair, and makeup were decided down to the T, her bridesmaids were given a little more freedom with their styling. Their dresses were personally designed by Lauren Conrad herself—which sparked her new line of bridesmaids dresses by the way, so keep an eye out for those—and her besties were given the choice of two colors and different silhouettes in order to choose a dress that looked the best on their figure. Lauren decided to assign a color palette of blush pink and nude instead of making her girls all buy the same dress, allowing her bridesmaids to look uniform but in a style that fitted each individual girl the best. This mix-n-match style added a little extra personality to her bridal party. Rose gold accessories finished off this chic, elegant, and completely re-wearable bridesmaid wedding style.

The groom and his groomsmen also matched the romantic, classy theme of this wedding by wearing crisp black tuxes, bowties, and simple white boutonnieres. For lack of a better word, Mr. Tell and his boys looked very ‘groom’ed—no pun intended.

Not only was LC and Will’s wedding style extremely on point, their wedding décor was absolutely a dream come true for any fashionisa, designer, or average bride-to-be out there. This beautiful couple included personal touches, like homemade apple pies, and intimate vows to ensure their guests felt like one big happy family. Congratulations to the beautiful bride and handsome groom, Mr. and Mrs. Tell, and we’ll be sure to include you and your dreamy wedding in all of our future Pinterest boards!
