Tis the season to be wed! Odds are you have been invited to at least one wedding this summer; love is in the air. Going to weddings is a good way to be inspired for what you might be planning for your future wedding, even if you aren’t engaged, we won’t tell anyone about your secret wedding board on Pinterest. We have been loving this wedding season, and we have to admit that the brides of 2014 might be rocking our favorite trends yet. We have been particularly loving the hair styles of the trendy 2014 bride. This year seems to be all about easy, breezy and whimsical. Here are some of our favorite bridal hair looks.

Without a doubt, one of the prettiest bridal hair trends for 2014 has to be flowers! Zac Posen, Dolce and Gabbana and many others use beautiful blossoms  on their models and it’s a gorgeous look for everyday bride too. It is an elegant look for a more natural bride.

From a single blooming worn on the side in a updo, to smaller flowers pinned all over the hair or the ever popular flower crown, this is one trend we’re sure we’ll see time and  time again over the coming months. The charming floral crown creates a youthful bohemian vibe perfect for a laid-back wedding.

Along with flowers we have seen brides rocking braids everywhere and we love it! Braids are great for summer weddings because of their simplicity. Whether the bride is wearing a long braid down the back or a crown of braids, they look great and magical on the bride.

For brides with long locks we suggest mermaid waves. This year is all about the long beachy mermaid waves. For a more natural look twirl large sections of hair around a large barrel curling iron to create long, loose waves.

Half-up, half-down hairdo has been another beautiful look that is trending in many weddings. Half-up hairdos are perfect for weddings, as they combine the glamour of the updo with the whimsical and romance of wearing your hair loose. It pulls just enough hair back to see the brides face but still gives you elegance and drama.

The top-knot bun is everywhere! It is on every runway and on every girl. The top-knot keeps all eyes on the bride’s beautiful face. It is easy to pair with shiny jewelry or to just keep it simple with a classic veil.
